Educapital Foundation offers an “ATB Scholarship Award“ for high school students who pass the Ability to Benefit (ATB) test and enroll into one of our partner schools.
The Ability-to-Benefit Test or “ATB Test" is an all-inclusive, non-proctored exam designed by the U.S. Department of Education to help identify students who possess the basic skills necessary to succeed in a post-secondary education program, but who lack a high school diploma.
Eligibility:
· Must be at least 16 years old
· Must have not received a high school diploma or completed a GED
The ATB scholarship is awarded to high school students who pass the ATB exam, and enroll into one of our partner schools.
The Ability to Benefit (ATB) program allows low-skilled individuals to access necessary workforce training and education that can help lift them out of poverty.
It does so by allowing individuals without a high school diploma or equivalent to qualify for federal financial aid for postsecondary education when they participate in an eligible career pathway.
